The Bunbury Repertory Club was proud to present
Flying Feathers by Derek Benfield
Directed by Gordon Monk
Performances were at the New Lyric Theatre, Bourke St, Bunbury
Flying Feathers is a two act play by Derek Benfield. This is a risque farce set in England at the country house of Bernard who has gone to live in a religious community in Scotland. In his absence, a new housekeeper has used her initiative in a creative way and there is hilarious confusion when Bernard's brother Henry, a Chief Constable, arrives unannounced with his sister Sarah.

We were sad that this was Gordon Monk's last production as Director. We express our thanks to Gordon for his many years of service to the Club, both on and off the stage and we wish him all the best for his 'retirement' from directing plays. Gordon celebrated his 90th birthday earlier this year! What an incredible milestone - Congratulations Gordon! See photos of the gathering at the Little Theatre by clicking this icon
